Our calendula salve is made with fresh herbs, grown and harvested on our farm. Bright and sunny calendula, goldenrod and grindelia flowers are processed fresh and slowly infused over several weeks into organic oils.
Calendula, often called herbal sunshine, has a long history of use for wounds, sores, burns, scratches, bites, and infections.* Calendula’s warm and gentle nature makes it the perfect herbal ally for nurturing your skin.
Grindelia, a resinous, waxy plant that thrives in the full sun of the New Mexico desert, has been used in local traditions for skin lesions, wounds, cuts and abrasions. Goldenrod also has a long history of use for inflamed or infected wounds in European tradition.*
All three of these herbs come together in our Calendula salve formulation, each offering their golden gifts to support your skin and promote wellness.
